A unique ccommodation in  Jerez de la Frontera

We were only in Jerez for one night, and it was incredible. From the beginning, Virginia was responsive and helpful, answering my pre-arrival inquiries promptly. She greeted us personally upon our arrival and knowing we only had one evening, made reservations for a private sherry tour and a tapas dinner with a Flamenco show. Both were within walking distance to La Gitanilla allowing us the opportunity to see more of Jerez. Our room was impeccable and well appointed. We reserved the superior double and loved the size of the room, the décor and the original exterior balconies overlooking the cobblestone street. The photos on the website do not lie, the rooms are around an impeccable central open space and the roof top deck has incredible views of the cathedral. This is where breakfast is served, a calm oasis before beginning your day. The continental breakfast choices were endless. Virginia is the perfect hostess. She is thoughtful ( she surprised us with a mini split of cava to celebrate our wedding anniversary), friendly, cares deeply for her guests’ comfort and is passionate about her La Gitanilla. We immediately felt at home. Upon check out, Virginia allowed us to keep the parking spot a few hours longer so we could explore more of Jerez before leaving. Jerez and Virginia enchanted us and we will be back to soak in more of Virginia’s hospitality and Jerez’s charm. This was the highlight of our 7 days in Spain! Virginia, thank you for being you!

Estuvimos alojados en la Gitanilla un fin de semana y nos encantó. La ubicación perfecta, andando a todas partes, súper limpio, cama comodísima… Virginia encantadora, solucionó todas nuestras dudas, nos dejaron plancha, toallas de playa.. Repetiremos!!

El hotel y el servicio fantásticos. Además, si el tiempo acompaña, se puede desayunar en la azotea viendo Jerez y su catedral.

M'ha encantat aquest lloc, tot . La encantadora Virgínia que ens va ajudar a arribar , només ella un 10 però el hotelet una monada, tranquil, ben ubicat i el esmorzar un altre 10. La empatia i el esforç de fer-nos l'estada agradable va ser constant. Feu un gin tonic al terrat per la nit ,les vistes una passada, ho recomano.

We stayed in this beautiful accommodation a few weeks ago. The place is stunning. It is so well designed and decorated. But most importantly, Virginia is amazing. She goes way above and beyond and without her, our time in Jerez would not have been as special. We booked the smallest room and it was tiny but so well designed that everything had it’s place and it was wonderful. There are also stunning spaces on the terrace and also in the courtyard. Don’t hesitate if you want beautiful accommodations with a wonderful host.

It was a wonderful stay in this little oasis. Virginia is such a lovely and charming host, who organized for us a Sherry tasting and Flamenco Show. We felt very welcome.

Virginia is the most amazing host, our stay at La Gitanilla was absolutely incredible. Virginia planned all our excursions, including flamenco dancing, restaurant booking, horse and carriage rides and tickets to the Casetas at the annual Jerez horse festival. Nothing was too much trouble including arranging fresh flowers for us to wear in our Hair at the ferrier. A warm welcome awaits you at La Gitanilla. Cosy rooms, a stunning rooftop Terrace, and honesty, bar and nice home, comforts. I cannot recommend it highly enough. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you very much, Virginia and Luke.
