Tío Pepe Festival: This Summer, Music Comes to Life in Jerez
At La Gitanilla, we love enjoying our city, and what better way to do so than by combining music, wine, and gastronomy in a setting as magical as our famous González Byass wineries.
I’m talking about the Tío Pepe Festival, a unique event in Jerez where you can enjoy summer nights in a truly distinct atmosphere. This year, the Tío Pepe Festival is branded as "More than a festival, a lifestyle"—an event that has earned a permanent spot on the Jerez calendar, attracting more than 65,000 people last year.
Tío Pepe Festival 2024 Lineup
The festival kicks off on July 12th with Ana Mena, followed by Gilberto Santa Rosa on July 14th, Raphael on July 17th, and Miguel Poveda on July 19th. The lineup continues with God Save The Queen (July 20th), Take That (July 21st), La Oreja de Van Gogh (July 27th), and Luis Fonsi (July 28th).
August brings Antonio José (July 30th), Amaral (August 1st), India Martínez (August 2nd), Arrival from Sweden: The Music of Abba (August 3rd), José Mercé (August 4th), Sidecars (August 8th), Santiago Auserón (August 10th), and Nil Moliner (August 11th). Los Secretos will provide the grand finale on August 16th, celebrating their 45th anniversary.
For flamenco purists, the Solera y Compás cycle features Rancapino Chico and María Terremoto (August 7th), followed by the mastery of Israel Fernández and Diego del Morao on August 14th. The cycle concludes on August 15th with Jerez’s own Jesús Méndez, accompanied by Borja Évora on piano and Pepe del Morao on guitar.
If you prefer an evening of laughter, Tío Pepe Comedy starts on July 26th with La Chirigota del Selu and continues on August 9th with the show "El Sentido del Humor: Dos Tontos y Yo," starring Santiago Segura, Mota, and Flo.

Dining at the Tío Pepe Festival
If you are looking for top-tier gastronomy, you have the "Cenas de las Estrellas" (Dinner with the Stars). This culinary cycle takes place within the González Byass wineries, featuring María José Martínez from the Michelin-starred restaurant Lienzo on July 22nd.
Joining this proposal is the restaurant El Huaso, led by Jerez native Carlos Martel, present on the nights of August 2nd and 9th. Additionally, you can enjoy the experience of Restaurante Pedro Nolasco, located on the iconic Calle Ciegos and led by chef Alejandro Bazán.
Beyond the concerts, wine, and food, the Tío Pepe Festival is a chance to enjoy a comprehensive summer experience in an incomparable setting surrounded by the history and magic of our city.
