Stay in the heart of an Andalusian house

La Gitanilla Accommodation & Charm

Stay in a historic Andalusian house where María José, Isabel, or I will be there to help you with anything you need before, during, and after your stay. History and modernity blend seamlessly without losing the original charm of the house, which dates back to 1865. Its enchanting patio was once the meeting place for the neighbors who lived there, and is now a cozy lounge where you can read a book or enjoy a leisurely coffee, just like in days gone by. Our location and proximity to the future Lola Flores Museum and the Flamenco Museum, the city's most renowned wineries, or simply stepping outside our door into the heart of Jerez's historic center, will allow you to discover the roots of Jerez just steps away.

María José

My partner and friend, my constant support at La Gitanilla, is a fundamental part of this establishment. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, she brings a professionalism and warmth that make all the difference. I couldn't imagine a better partner in this life project, into which we both pour our hearts to offer you the best possible service.

Her approachable, calm, and always helpful way of working makes every day at La Gitanilla easier and more beautiful. Together, we form a team that shares the same vision: that every person who walks through our door feels cared for and supported, as if they were among friends.

Virginia

I've always had a deep sensitivity towards people; I naturally want to care for them, support them, and make our visitors feel truly welcome. I enjoy those small gestures that make a stay special, both at La Gitanilla and in every corner of our city.

Over the years, my professional and personal journey has led me to grow, to discover new interests and to value even more the importance of creating a space where others can feel at home.

La Gitanilla is a project I'm passionate about and deeply committed to. Here, I can share everything I've learned, all my dedication, and all the love we put into this home. My wish is that every guest leaves with a truly authentic memory and a smile that will last a lifetime.

Isabel

Our newest addition is Isabel, a colleague and friend, whose story was brought together by fate. We didn't know we had shared a childhood until we reconnected years later, and since then she has been an essential part of the La Gitanilla family.

Hardworking, attentive, and deeply committed, Isabel brings a fresh and precious energy to the team. Her presence inspires confidence and warmth, and her attention to detail reflects the care she puts into her work. We are delighted to be working together on this project and know that our guests are in such good hands.

Our story

La Gitanilla was born from the desire to breathe new life into an Andalusian house dating back to 1865 and share its charm with our guests. What was once a home bustling with gatherings in its central courtyard is now a family-run guesthouse where we continue to lovingly attend to every detail. We have preserved its original soul while adding modern, handcrafted touches, creating an intimate, welcoming space steeped in history. Here, we welcome you as if you were in our own home, so you can discover Jerez from a place with deep roots, character, and heart.
